Got the results of my Supercharger install! 56k = naptime

Mentioned at the meeting i was installing a SC by monday. Here are the results:

Ended up with 338whp and 285tq. I said id be happy with 325, so my goal was met. Dyno was a Dyno dynamics aka "the heartbreaker". Boost is about 7psi. Add 10-13% to get near dynojet numbers

Setup is a Vortech tuner kit, with a TurboXS Utec and APS (bosche) 440cc injectors. Tuned by Sharif@Forged Internals monday, what a drive. I was so nervous all day.

Install Pics:

Nice. It doesn't look like you have a plemum spacer. If not you should get one.

Had a AAM plenum spacer, sold it. I may get another to help balance the front cylinders. Maybe i can pick up some goodies at zdayz next yr.

Ill try to make it to the dyno day, its in my plans as long as another meet doesnt come up.

What do you mean? Its a conservative FI tune. You want to go rich at wot.

Cost, about 6k with tuning and all parts needed.

Instructions, not bad but could be better. The pictures are fuzzy and sometimes the description is vague. I read them a bunch and knew what i was in for. Instructions werent given for installing injectors so i had to see the FSM.

13.5 is still rich, 14.7 is stoich. Car idles at 14.5 and when you get on the gas it will drop.

yep! instead of paying to have it installed i could buy tools and stuff needed to do it myself.

another strategy was in the ordering. instead of taking a big 5k hit, i ordered in parts over a few months.

Sharif does good work, so do the 4 guys in the shop.
