I have thought about that very same question. Quite some time ago I had consulted a mechanical engineer to help me design my own supercharger for that space. But I ran into complications and scrapped the project. I do think though that if you were to get ahold of a vortex or paxton cyntrifical (sp?) unit there would be a way to do it. Some special bracketing would be necessary, but it shoulden't be to big a job. But you would want to go with a low psi unit unless you plan on doing internal work to sustain the boost. You would also need to install a fuel managment unit to control the fuel system. And I am no expert so you would want to consult someone who is experienced in installing blowers. Hope this helps.
