2jzgte
Anyone think or seen a 2jzgte in a MR2 before, I saw an MR2 in my city today and it was pretty modded out, looked good I just dont like 4bangers. Ive had some bad experiances, but anywho I know they got a 4 cylnder motor that sits like a Front wheel drive but in the back, but anyone think there is enough space to fit 2jz in there? Just tryin to com up with Idea for my next project that im gonna start in Jan of next year.

well
Ya i did that and read the whole thing, But I put this post up in my clubs area because there are a few of us in the Upstate that have Shade tree determination! Hahaha, My favorite Red Neck sayin is "If it dont fit, you aint Tryin Hard enough!" So basicly I was askin for Ideas. Anywho Im still tryin to find someone at the race track that has a mr2 that I can try to sit in, they look really small and Im 6'3" so it might not even happen, but If I can fit im seriously thinkin about this It would be a fun project. I think streching the rear out wouldnt be so bad, It would end up being one insainely quick mr2.

i think it is a not so great idea. you would have to fab up an entire driveline and convert it to an FR setup. theres no FWD tranny that will fit on that thing to leave it an RR setup. it would be quite insane. you should swap it into something more suitable yet equally impressive like a S30 of a 510 or an old corolla would be freaking sweet and keeping it in the family. and when i say old i mean prior to the AE's like the early 70's corolla's

Now that would be awesome. An old 70s corolla. Super light with an engine like the 2JZ under the hood. Oh or one of those old Celicas the ones that have the shape and style of a muscle car except a lot smaller. I thought those are actually pretty cool looking.

well my thing is I want a bit of a newer model car to roll around in for some fun, my 82 280zx with the rb25det is a great car I love it to death but It seriously lacks any means of luxury. It looks great and man is it fast witch is exactly what I wanted, I love driving it when its sunny and droping the t-tops. But I want something that would end up being enjoyable to drive at all times. Alot of things running around in my mind, If I end up with a Mr2 it will still remain a RR car reguardless of the amount of fab work that will be needed, im not scared of no metal hehe. who says you cant bolt the tranny to the Diff lol thats what Half-shafts are for hehe. I dont know still shoping for a car and I still havent got to sit in a Mr2 yet!

yeah, if your keeping it RR theres no way a 2JZ will work without being a mechanical engineer and making your own custom tranny lol. that or amazing and make an adapter plate and get it to except trans optimal for that setup. porsche trans?

uhhh... how much power are we looking for here... I am thinking 500 or so.... 5 speed trans with a good clutch would hold that easy... if you have an auto and want to go big power.. you can get an adapter to take you past the 500 mark and bolt a gm trans to it.

sc300?
That took me a min to find haha, thats a toyota salora over here Bill. But ya I like the way those look pretty much a luxry supra but Much cheaper there in the states, Thats a 20,000 euro car depending on condition here. But most imports are expencive here. So I got a massive turbo that Im planning on straping to my next project, The 3.0ltr that comes in that car can handel some power or The 2jz will drop right into that right? I want an automatic and I want big power that is just barly driveable and almost insane to drive when the roads wet, But I want all my options too hehe Like AC I dont car a bot Crusie control if its and automatic. think that stock motor if rebuilt could handel 600hp? and this massive turbo I got? Holset H1E is the model. Looks like a nice car though Oh let me know if you see one layin around Im coming back in November sometime so If the price is right maybe Ill jump on it now before I get back.

Q45
This is what I want I really like the infinity Q45 the whole VIP style i guess, The V8 looks tempting and I just love the Size of it, not to menchion they are pretty cheap! I think thats what Im gonna do... Air bags, boost it up, fresh paint and a clean inside with AC, ill be happy.
Witch means we can just get crazy with FrankZenstien when I get back Bill, considering I cant get wide open over there in states like I do here Might as well make it a strip killer. I got to get this darn altornator replaced, Im back to sqaure one with that electrical problem.
