280zx Questions

Im about to get my first 280zx project started soon i hope depends if i buy the car or not

Anyway here goes..

They come with the l28 ? What power are they producing @ the wheels roughly..

How strong is the factory auto box ? how hard/easy is it too convert a auto to a manual ? can i use the same computer and wiring harness ?

Do they have rear discs or rear drums ?

How strong is the diff ? is there any LSD Swaps for this car ?

How much would it cost to get a bonnet windscreen font left hand guard and headlight ?

What mods / performance parts are available for the 280zx ?

How much are strut braces ?

1. non turbo approx. 145-165 -- turbo approx. 185-195
2. depends on how mechanically inclined you are -- I don't think you have to change any harnesses
3. '79-'83 all have rear discs
4. turbo-strong -- non turbo-not so strong --- you can make anything fit if you put your mind to it
5,6,7. Check out the links on this site to find answers to these. As far as strut braces go, you can make them for next to nothing if you're not real worried about how they look.
