electric clutch fan

ok so my clutch fan is a POS and i want to upgrade to an electric one but the problem im having is clearance would it be possible to make one fit even though the radiator is slanted and also would i need to keep the cowl thing if i go with an electric fan?

Endless are your options... I dunno what you're talking about "clearance" wise... there's a TON more room than any S30 / S130.

www.redz31.net and www.az-zbum.com have tons of info on electric rad fans. Checky!!!

cool thanks that would open up a few more options like a hole in the front facia to cool the engine bay more. and also im going to hook it up to my ignition so that when i start the car the fan blows constantly while the car is on.
i was also thinking about getting two for the front and one big one for the back would that be overkill?

thats dumb.... hook it up through a temp sensor and a relay if its always on the engine will be way to slow on warm up, remember cold engine dont perform good, warm engines do with cold intake air... also the fan motor can burn out faster, and idk what winters are like there but here i didnt even need a fan on cause my turbo S30 would never fully warm up if i moved at 20 mph or faster haha. and dude, get either two small fans on the back or just one big one, 3 fans like that is really dumb and will probably create for turbulence than proper air flow

dude, leave the car alone, if you cant figure out how a simple turbo timer wires in, how to replace shocks, and how to adjust the clutch. then you dont need to be screwing with making a wiring harness for an un needed electric fan, i ran that car without a fan for 45 minutes without it getting above 160. i dont think you need a fan. also doing an intercooler would be WAY above your level. just leave the car alone, change the oil and drive it! or sell it too me.

tighten the bolts down then, the shroud is and will always be loose, the fan should be fine unless something actually breaks off it, then replace it! trust me having someone to install everything as well as buying the parts to do something so simple could cost you over $1k i was thinking on using a z32 fan as a replacement, but never really got to try it.

u dont need a relay or thermo switch
jus grab some fans from a 84 stanza or some other small nissan and it pulls less than 15amps

Indeed... you don't NEED relays... just a FIRE EXTINGUISHER when the wires melt.
