performance plug in?

Are there any perfomance chips, or plug ins that are available for the 1980 280 zx ecm?

There are no "chips" or "plug in's" for the 280zx. If you want to upgrade the ECU, you must buy a new ECU from a performance company like Jim Wolf, or Stillen, at a cost of $500 - $600.

In my opinion, unless you have a fully built L28ET engine, or some wild N/A setup, you don't need a modified ECU. If you do have a fully built engine, a stand alone would be best.
