Electrical problems

Wassup guys I'm pretty new to this forum as a member but has always logged on as a guest. Anyway my dash board warning guages stays on, even with the key out and would stay running without the key. I managed to eliminate the constant running by changing the fuse box, but the lights on the dashboard constantly stay on. so far i checked the ignition switch, relays and fuses and thats not the problem. if anybody can help me out id be very thankful.

Wow... The fun of owning a Z32

This is a new problem to me. I've never heard of such a thing occuring. I'm interested to hear what's causing this as much as you are buddy.

That is a first. Dash warning lights staying on even with the key out of the ignition. Hmmm.

Did you recently do any electrical work, or did you install different gauges?

Remove fuses one by one to determine which circuit is giving you problems. Then you get to go on a wild goose chase. I'm guessing that one of the gauge panel wires got pinched along with a constant 12v wire and that's why they're staying lit.

You removed all of the fuses and it still does it? That can't be possible. Everything in that panel is switched 12v. Nothing is constant 12v.

Believe me when i tell you i removed all the fuses and the relays and it still stayed on. There's a plug that goes into the fuse box when I pull the plug out the dashlight comes off.

I fixed my problem, the wires under the relay box were touching each other causing the dashlight to stay on. Thanx guys for all your input.
