Why can't I load a .gif image (animated) avatar when I see others have them??

now site supporters can have animated avatars up to 100k in size, and 100x100 as avatars.

please may i have this for my avvie????? it is spozed to be the right size--iffn it iznt, please advise--the message given when i tried to transfer it here was the transfer process was disabled. i know it is the right size because i sized it appropriately first. i could not do it--please please please please?????
