Hey everyone....another stupid post. I am unable to even get the option to add an avitar below my name. I know some sites require a certain number of posts before letting you access the option. Anybody know the magic number? Thanks.

Don't think anyone knows the magic anything for that one.
We're all pretty much in the same boat as far as I know.

Heres what happened... All of the 'original members' that were here when the older ZDriver was here. We all had avatars when the option was still in use. When the site changed over, the option was lost.

Leaving me with this damn screaming Danzig... I used to change my avatar daily... Now I cant... Damn.

So what is the story behind Zdriver.com? ie: the history with the old and the new.

All that I know is that there WAS a 510driver.com run by the same people. They then decided to kill the website in favor of a Gdriver.com or something like that. I was PISSED. I tried to get the files that made up the forums, to run on my server, to know avail. There was a bunch of 510 guys on that site. More so than z people here.

The old ZDriver.com was just... Different.

Before they moved over to VBulletin. We had avatars, avatar tags (little names under the avatars... You can still see mine, Riz's, 91zxtt, emo's and a few others.

I used to change my avatar literally, on a daily basis. And now the option just no longer exists... WTF?

This is probably the fifth thread concerning where the avatar function has gone, and I've come to the conclusion that high up, they just dont care.

O well... Its just the internet anyways.

We'd all lilke to change this, but we're stuck. One other thing,...what would it take for someone to change the grammar and wording of the intro. Has anyone read that section below where you choose which generation Z forum you want to enter? Was that written by a 4 year old? It bugs me every time I log on.

it's probably just an option that was not turned on. If you go to other sites with the same Vbulletin format you'll find it's the same only allowing the option. Did you understand what I think I said???? The UK site is identical basicly and you can select an avatar from the standards, then after so many posts you are allowed to have a custom.

We agree with you. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do. Rizz isn't the one whho can change it. The administrator is the only one who can change it. You could try to contact him. We all have.

and that would be GodZilla wouldn't it????? haven't heard a word from him since I was out there in June. Left a message for him back in July and never heard back. I'd guess the site is on auto-pilot.

That would be an affirmative on everything you just said. I actually though I saw a recent post on here from him. Let's get this thing working right. It seems that the traffic has been picking up recently.
