As has been discussed on our forums before, the highest flowing oil pump for many VG powered vehicles has been the oil pump originally installed in the engines of 1984-1989 Nissan Z31 300ZX Turbos with the automatic transmission option.

We were able to locate and acquire a limited supply of brand new "Auto/Turbo" pumps that were manufactured by Atsugi, an OE parts supplier for Nissan.
These pumps are clearly marked Atsugi with the Nissan hamburger logo, and match markings of original core oil pumps removed from engines during disassembly.
These pumps should be fully interchangable with S12 SE-V6s as well as 1990-92 Infiniti M30's.

Purchasing these same pumps from a Nissan dealership (if you can find them!) can run around 200 bucks - Courtesy hasn't even had them in stock for some time.
Our efforts resulted in finding a cache of OE style pumps to offer to enthusiasts for a significant savings.

If you plan on doing any type of moderate to high performance VG engine build, making an improvement to the oiling system in your newly machined motor is not only added insurance and piece-of-mind, but also a performance enhancement by itself.
The internal gearing of these Atsugi "Auto/Turbo" pumps has been documented as being much larger than oil pumps found in NA cars and Turbo 5-speed cars, and are able to outflow them. More oil flow means more protection for your internals and valvetrain.

We have also partnered with the staff of EP Racing to offer ported versions of these pumps to our customers.
Mitch with EP Racing has had significant hands-on experience dealing with these particular pumps. He is able to port out the internal passages to significantly increase flow efficiency by removing restrictions.
