"Auto" Door Locks & Water Temp stuff...

Ok, I'll try to make this short.

'83ZX, all the bells and whistles. The passenger door won't unlock when I open the drivers side lock anymore. What do I look for, how do I fix? Vaccuum or electronic?

Also, the coolant temp gauge (digital) seems to be on the fritz along with the little check thingy in the midle of the dash (push the button, hope for an "ok"). The temp guage intermittently displays what seems to be the correct temp., while the "check" display says I need coolant. I don't need coolant.....I've checked this three ways this week alone. Help here would be very cool!!! I'm thinking a water temp sending sensor....but I'm not sure where it is.

Thanks!!!

Passenger door lock: The electronic lock actuator has gone bad. Get one from a 280ZX passenger door. Take off the inner door panel and replace the unit.

the light for your coolant level should be fine... its not the coolant temp sensor but the coolant reservoir level sensor... check to see the connection to it.. check the water level in the reservoir
