I have a 1980 280 zx engine that needs a new intake, and the vaves need to be adjusted. the five speed transmision has a brand new clutch on it just needs a slave cylinder. both engine and trans are in great condition. I also have a 1976 engine that needs new intake. no adjustments are need on the valves, it is pretty much ready for hook up. it came out of that comemerative car in 76. I have the 4 speed transmition for this engine also, all that is need for it is the slave cylender also. both engine and trans are in great condition. both the engines, and both the transmitions were working great when they were pulled. asking $500 (OBO) for everything.

 

Forgot to post that the 1976 needs a clutch.

 

how much for just the 280zx transmission, and how much if i were to get the 280zx transmission and motor.

 

I know it isn't much of a drop, but I will say $300 for the engine and trans, but just the trans, $175 and + shiping. If your interested, I can give you more info.

 

Would you be willing to sell just the zx block and head? Which head does it have? How much would you want for it? Thank you

I am so sorry, I should have posted that I am no longer getting rid of that stuff.
I deccided I am porting, and polishing that head, and boring the block.
I am giving it a crane cam, and puting a 4 barel carb on it. safe to say it will be high performance when I am done. I could find you a zx head and block if you would like, just let me know your price, and I will find you the stuff OK. No jokes man I will hook you up. what part of texas are you in?

 

Hey it's not a huge deal. I don't want to cause you trouble. I don't have a car atm anyway. I'm about to get one and wanna get a project motor that I can swap over when I'm finished. I'm in Ft Worth if you happen to hear about one. I don't wanna spend a fortune though. Just something that could be built up. Thanks
