Engine investment.

OK guys....how much dough have you put into your Z's engine to make more power? I'm talking about just performance upgrades, not maintenance.

Just NGK plugs, it has a more powerful coil than stock. I think it is a Acell or something like that. I plan on getting NGK plug wires sometime soon. Putting my headers on in a week or so. And also getting a K & N filter for my stock airbox. And basically taking apart my driver side of the engine, cleaning it up. And repainting the fuel rail, and such a Aluminum high temp paint. Also probably might get a new dizzy with new cap and rotor. That is all for now, will do more as I go. Just at the moment, I am trying to get my '82 to run better, it is all process of elimination.

I think I've spent about $1500-1700 in performance parts, some of the stuff I put on came from previous cars I owned or got from friends to hack up and use. I've added a new turbo, i/c, coil, ignition box, bigger throttle body, z31 ecu/maf, intake, boost controller, and catback exhaust.

Putting another head and cam in soon. Head will have some work done to it by me.

I did not put more than 200 into the engine so far. haha

Bought it from the junk yard like that.
