For years, many backyard mechanics have talked about it... some have tried it...

Like these guys. You can rent a shop bay w/ a lift, and do the work yourself.

Now thats freakin cool. Im sure there are tons of legal obstacles here in Cali but that would be a money maker here in the bay. Soooo many DIY'ers. Especially now with the large youth based import/domestic performance crowd coupled with the economic situation. . . . . .hrm. . .i wish i had some dough to invest in empty industrial space around here

id love to do that, and make it 24 hrs... charge by the hour. amazing.... bring your own tools sign a waiver that if you kill/injure yourself go F yourself lol.
