Yeah, my neighbor jacked the price up to $23k and now it's just sitting on the local classifieds. I'm not interested at that price.

Indeed I'm looking at an E39 BMW 530i. There's two I want, and can't decide... One is a black 02, 90k miles, Tan leather, sport package, but no HID's (still has the halos), and the onboard dash display has pixel issues (a pain to DIY fix), for $9400.

The other is a black 01, 118k miles, black leather, sport package, HID's, cleaner interior, but I think it's got a bad front right wheel bearing because it's got a loud WHURR when driving. Also someone scratched off the blue & white BMW logo from the hood & trunk badges, for $7400.

 

the dash having stuck pixles isnt really much to fuss about but i wouldnt bother fixing it either. the best you could do is put some pressure on the screen to get them un stuck.

Ha... nope, never got it. In fact I don't know who did, because the guy let the bank take it because he stopped paying the loan. Too bad....

I imagine it sold at auction for some ridiculously low price because no one knew about the STS kit, and then probably blew up shortly after...

 

That would be sad if that happened. STS turbo kits make ALOT of horsepower! Oh well maybe you will get one next time. I'll have to get a c4 Corvette for my next car.
