bardabe, computers get hot, and when they get too hot, they stop working. temp guages are easy to add, you just put the sensor where you want it and put the guage where you want it and hook it up to power. easy. my case came with a built in temp guage with three sensors, for the cpu, hard drive, and graphics card. the pic is right after i got it all together, but before i cleaned up the cables. but i dont have a case window, so i dont need it to look too pretty.

sorry, gonna have to back up FFXI on this one. although i haven't played my account in a while, and i'm on/off sometimes, i still love the game to death.
i'm very anti-wow. sorry. but i'll hold back any degrading remarks about it.

the temp gauge is built in on the case. i have one temp sensor that i can place anywhere in the case and then i have a program for a temp sensor for the motherboard, ecu, and somewhere else. the same program also monitors fan speeds, computer activity and physical memory usage.
heres my case
i think i might get this when i upgrade next

alll firggen Hi Tech. I still have the oldschool white face computers that all look teh same. running on 256mb of memory, an 80GB hard drive, 1.3 Mgz, and Windows XP. it aint the best but hell Teh Z needs it morethan I do.
beats my old 400MB K2 Proc., w/ 64MB of RAM, and 60GB HD.....(and win 98
)
that was my comp last year, now I've got a 2.2 GB AMD Athlon, 512MB RAM, and a 160GB HD, DVD/CD-R Reader/Writer, 8-1 Front Media port, XP, yada yada... (quite the upgrade if I do say so myself) (Its still an e-machines comp tho.....I need to build up a nice comp one of these days, maybe once my Z stops taking all my money)
It's sad, I'm Cisco I certified, A+ certified, currently working on a 2yr. degree in comp. programming, have well over 8 years of IT experience, been using computers for 14 years, and have a TON of programming knowledge including HTML, DHTML, Perl, and Java experience, VB, Cobra, and some basic C+. I can build computers in and out, and I'm still using a POS that was premade by E-machines.......I dont know whats wrong, somone slap me...
