well.. about 15 years ago i think it was only sometihng like 14 dollars an hour. lol. now its ridiculous. for my flight today solo... 0.9 hours was 84 dollars. standard of 94 dollars and hour plus flight instructor pay when i go dual. its a kick in the *****. in the past 6 months i think ive spent about 7grand in flight...

78 lol... i here the pipers dont stall.. the cesna is a turd when coordinating a turning stall though. the damn turn coordinator is a liar, you keep it in the center it dips a wing and stalls trying to spin.

i'll bet you that plane was built in '77. and that it has a lycoming 0-235 series engine.

meh. my POH is for a 78. i didnt check the planes.. i could look at the registration and what not.... but wont have the manufacturing date im sure.... meh, who knows. my instructor has a 68 152 POH sooo... w/e no big. i was practicing my shorts and softs. soft field take off's are fun as hell... 10 degrees of flaps full back you ride out a wheelie lol and get into ground affect then level off in ground affect at near stall speed fly level a few feet off the ground til you gain speed and pull it and you just shoot up in the air. much fun.

EDIT: and i wish i had my camera the day before this, i watched a gulfstream jet take off, it was intense, those engines scream. what kind are they? not rolls royce are they? cause i know those turbines are screamers.... but they throttled up thing just launched and then climbed out like crazy, leaving a nice little exhaust stream behind it. beautiful jet.

will do. later. haha. no schools even have turbine planes. im sone what jealous western michingan just got a whole new line of cirrus planes for training. haha... we got 2 cessna 152's down here. one plane was sitting and running the other was taxing past it and ran the wing over the spinning prop of the other. screwed up the wing spare on the one, the other is getting a complete engine overhaul. if you ask me, we should just get a new type of plane. but meh. i really wish we had more low wing planes. instead we gots our 152's 172's 182RG's and one piper seminole... yeesh. nice planes, but im gonna get soo sick of the high wing thing soon. so i can get my private instrument complex commercial high performance and multi. no turbine stuff though... sigh

EDIT: and i looked it up, the gulfstreams do have rolls-royce engines... score one for eric

Basic single engine license costs less that a used motorcycle. Rotory license is what I want.... now that's gonna cost a fortune.

you could DEF pull a pearl harbor move and show a girl the sunset from in the sky....then you might actually be able to avoid getting rejected for once.
