wooden suspension parts

hey just thought id post something different on here. these parts are for my datsun 620 truck. it may look like wood, but theyre actually the original steel ones. its powder coating that uses a 2 step process and looks really like wood, i did my lower control arms and my under engine x-member. the straighter the piece the better the effect. this should really blow ppls minds when i got my wheels turned at a show!! i get all my coating done for free because my father in law works as a manager at a coating shop, so why not!!

I like it. It does look like wood, and such a unique idea.

thanks everyone!!! its really cool stuff and comes in about 7 different styles of wood grain. this is douglas fir. they have cherry knotty pine, mohagany and others i cant remeber. its really only good on straight pieces more like the cross member. the lower control arms have missed spots without any grain due to the systems limitations. normally its used for railings and window frames where you need the performance of aluminum and the appearance of wood. i just thought id be the first!!!
