this sounds like BS to me
alright i just got back from the booze store because my girlfriend cant seem to go by her self and the check out lady told me that i am going to have to get a new ID because mine LOOKS like its cracked. fine what ever, its a new store i think and i am probally not commin back any way because their prices sucks ***.
next she tells me because my ID is "damaged" that under "a new home land secuity act" she cant sell me any thing else. that what got me goin because #1 it sound to me like just another thing to spend money on #2 its not my fault the DMV cant issue IDs that can with stand being in a wallet....where 85% of the population (if not more) keep them. and #3 why are you feeding me this BS, if theres a new law it needs to be posted in the store and if its a store rule then dont make **** up.
it sounds like a load and a made up excuse but that why i am here askin, i couldnt turn any thing up on any home land security laws which would be a national law like federal and nothing for state.
you would think that bars would do the same thing but i have been at bars almost once a week weither i am drinking or not theyre still checking my id and they dont say or ask any thing other than mabe if the address is current

I've heard the same law before. If an ID is cracked or splitting then it is suspect to being a forged ID.
My WA license seems pretty sturdy. it has never had to be replaced besides every 5 years when it is up for renewal.
