Said Goodbye.

well, i sold my z31 today. i knew it was going to happen, but it still sucks. it was like a good friend for 3 years, and it was hard to watch someone else drive it away. on the bright side, it went to someone who wants to fix it up, not some kid who would trash it. so i feel better knowing that. anyways, just feeling kinda bummed. how do you guys feel when you have to let go of a car?

i go through alot of cars but i have a hard time letting them go always. my 00 gti vr6 had for 4 years did alot of work to it and i just sold it a week ago i felt like i was missing something. my 91 mr2 that was a fun car, my del sol was neat it turned so many heads and people were always asking what kind of car is that. it had a full budy kit cf hood rims it was nice. once that comfort sets in its hard to let go. my z32 is the first car ive owned that from the day i bought it i loved it, all my other cars i didnt like at first but then they grew on me.

I hear ya bro. I've bought & sold a lot of Z's.... but my 1970 240Z was the only one that as soon as it drove away, I said "oh ****! I shouldn't have done that!"

Yeah, sorry you had to let it go. I've had a few cars that were really hard to let go of. My first Z car was a financial disaster... a money pit of unrivaled proportions. I made the though realization that it was beyond hope only after putting a lot of time, money and effort into it. I hated to see that car leave my driveway. I sold it to a local Marine who promptly wrecked it. Probably was a blessing in disguise because he put it out of its misery. My wife and I had a '94 Nissan hardbody that we bought brand new and took such good care of. It was such a great little truck. When we traded it in on our first Frontier, we both got teary eyed when we handed over the keys. I've struggled lately with weather or not to keep both of my Z cars. I was almost ready to kick the black one to the curb but I just couldn't do it.

Rod.
