Unhappy Time to say goodbye to "Darth Z"

The time has come to part ways with the 280ZX. I just don't have the time or the motivation to keep it around as an ongoing project and I could really use the garage space. I hated to do it, but I just listed her on CL.

The Pathfinder is taking a beating outside, it really should be in the garage next to the GT-R. It was a lot of fun, a lot of work and a lot of heartache, but she simply has to go. It's been driven less than 500 miles in the last 5 years.

I hope she finds a good home.

You guys have always been a great and supportive bunch. Keep the faith. Maybe someday, I'll get another one. Til then, I'll try and come around as often as time permits.

Rod no....I can't believe you are selling your 280zx! Your Z is one of the big reasons, for my inspiration with my Z's. You have been a big impact on me, as well as many others on here. Really sorry to hear that man. Hope all is well, and everything works the best for you and your family.

All aside...I really miss the old days on this site. Where there was a lot of traffic. And lots of helpful, and friendly people on here. No offense to some of you on here. There is still those kind of people. But many of the ones, that were on here the first 3 or so years. (Feb. 2005 I started on here) I was on here, are mostly long gone. Minus a few. Sigh, kind of depressing to think about. Allright....I will stop now. Sorry everybody, had to get that out.

Rod, I'm sorry to hear it, but I know where you're coming from and I understand.

Hope you poke your head in every once in awhile to see how we're doing.

You've been great to have on the forum and a great person to know.

I hope our paths cross again in the future. Best to you and your whole family!

Cheers,
LWW

Hey L-Dub!

Don't fret, I'll still stick around as long as we have the R35/GTR forum section

You guys are all awesome. I'm sure I'll be kicking myself in the butt for years after I sell this thing.

BTW, you guys play nice... I just sent along a possible new forumite who's interested in the car. He's gonna poke around a bit and learn the history of Darth Z

Well, she's gone. Guy with a brand new Maserati just picked her up. She's going to a good home.
