porting

so this weekend i got some work done. i got my throttle body ported a total of 2.5 mm bigger, and i portmatched the IM to the TB polished like crazy i can see reflections off the inside of it. it feels like glass, i took all the rough edges out of the MAS. and am starting to smooth it all out, and polish it. and after that is the IM and then the head. i know the TB and MAS was probily pointless, i just want it to flow better not necessarly more air just flow better, less restrictions. and this is the first car ive been able to do what ever the hell i want to it so im just expierimenting. the head ad IM have a pourpose to them. they are comming out about 2-3mm all around on the runners, and matching them to he head, and then taking the head out about 1-1.5 mm to create a narrower runnerr, to create more valocity, and im going to scuff up right in the begining of the head so the fuel will sit and create a better mixture. fuel will site in little scratches, and evaporate makeing a better burn. thats what ive heard from you guys, say to leave the intake on the head rough so it mixes better, and the exaust side is going to be like glass, ive got the 6-2 header, then a custom collector into a 3'' magnaflow, with 2 2 1/2 inch outlets, duel resinators, and then duel pipes out the back. i have a stage 2 cam, stage 2 clutch, soon an electric water pump. i already have electric fan, custom duel cone cold air intake. made it myself. header is going to be wrapped and blanketed, i really want to, copper lines all up my intake on the out side, and down the main runner and 6 runners on the IM and run No2 through it to super cool the air going in. just for ***** and giggles. like i said im expierementing

you sure that little bit of scuffing will create enough turbulence to help vaporize the fuel? idk, i heard many things against polishing the intake mani and to just port it. leaving it abbrassive feeling.

you may want the whole intake to be kinda rough. you want turbulance all the way into the engine. dont make valleys big time, just port it and leave it kinda rough, no extras. go to hybridz, huge threads about this subject. ill find some links

Also when you copy it to your sig. Use And anything after jpg, eliminate, or it wont work either. I found that out, and it took me a few tries.
