alright, i cant believe i am actually thinking of doing a RHD conversion on my 92, but since the motor is gonna be pulled and none of the AC or heater crap is going to be used, im actually thinking about it and realizing how easy it would be on the z32.

here's an idea i'm pondering for the Z32 hoov. i'm thinking of getting an s30 dash, cutting out the gauge pods from the middle, and fitting old style gauges into the middle of my dash. i'll mock it up first to see if it will look decent, but i think it might be pretty cool. we'll see.

well that would probably end up happening. there is no way that i would fit the whole dash in. maybe cutting a rectangle out of the dash, making a mold of the s30 dash, and making the gauge pod out of carbon fiber. that could look pretty good. it would be the same shape as the original.

they sell fiberglass s30 dash's im sure it would be too hard to custom mold one int oa z32, but the lines would be completely wrong and the z32 is quit nice and flows extremely well and fallows the rest of the car.

indeed, it is nice as is. if i do do this, the altered area will be as small as possible. and really, the dash is my least favorite part of the car. it really will be, half the gauge set in the dash, half of it sticking out with a little cover over it. just like the s30s. it probably won't happen, just one of my ideas that i'll work just a little on then give up on.

oh damn it has been done before. what i'm thinking is most like the first one. those are pretty cool, although very low resolution as my computer shows them. i guess i would move the fuel, temperature, and oil pressure gauges over to the middle, and i guess i would put something cool like carbon fiber or rising suns in the blank spots of the dash. make it look a little more appealing.
