That's A LOT of talk... and not much walk. I want to see that thing pull a semi. It prolly does work wonders... but politics will prolly get in the way as usual & it will never come to pass.

dang it. I want that little engine in my Z so I can get 150mpg and have 250hp. Plus I can fit a pair of 15" subs up front under the hood.

I was thinking the same. Without physical proof. Dyno, actual car made with it etc. I think it's more of an ideal than actuality.

you'd have 800hp, not 250. supposedly. FI, 3000hp.

Something tells me that if there is any validity to this engine, this guy will be silenced in some way by the Government or "Big Oil" How many jobs will that destroy and how much profit will the oil companies lose? They won't let it happen...GREED is a killer.

The entire size of that thing doesn't look like 850 cubic inches. I don't get it.

I think he was meaning displacement equivalent to... but used the wrong terms. At least that's my theory!

Now imagine that engine in a 1st gen geo metro...

I'd be ok with the tiny version... the little 4" diameter engine he held up... was that one 150mpg? anyway... ya, I don't need 800hp

I was under the impression that that was the motor. It's not a smaller version, its the actual 800hp/150mpg MYT motor.

Oh and about govt. shutting the guy up if it's for real theory, just not plausible. I mean, look at hybrid vehicles or electric vehicles. There's plenty of alternate fuel or less fuel vehicles out there and they are REWARDED by the govt. The gass-guzzler vehicles are the ones taht are actually punished by the govt. with the gass-guzzler tax and extra regulations.

Ok, lol...how about this...they shut him up and nothing comes of this engine...THEN in a few more years down the road it shows up only this time it is in the form of military vehicles for several years before the public has access to it and then if we do there will be a substantial increase in cost for us and it's output would be limited like todays gas engines. If there is any way the government can get paid in some way they will...period...Oh and by the way who regulates fuel...THE GOVERNMENT!!! Yes those other "alternative" fuels are rewarded...it's like cheap research for the government.

It's been around for a few years but has never run. I doubt it ever will. Great idea, but the execution is flawed.

If people can make the Honda Insight do 140mpg then why doesn't Honda do the same mods on a new production run of the car?
