LOL i was in kalifornikation looking at lynch ambulance for a cct job when i saw the destruction katrina wrought on the coast of mississippi--gulfport and biloxi and then noo orleeeenzzzz......this time i am sitting in louseyanny waiting to go back out sailing and wishing the weather wasnt so wak...LOL---we have PERFECT weather in summer in dago ! LOL...just the winter suxxx there--LOL..(cct=critical care transport--was nursing job in ambulances...LOL).

don't really know if you can blame levies giving out or a natural disaster on anyone. however there should have been a bigger rescue force and put into action sooner by the feds and state. local gov't doesnt have the best power or resources though so feds get a little more blame.

The photo is true but the snope's summary is kinda bias. They did have a few days warning and if I couldn't find a bus driver I would be learning pretty quick. That is what they did in Texas when the next big one hit.

I'm so glad the navy sent me to Biloxi for school during the hurricane season.

 

Been a while since I checked in here...luckily I am in south east Ga now...so the wind never even bothered me.
