Mah new motorcycle!!!!!

ok, so it is the same motorcycle... whatever, but nicer!

so right around september/october last year i almost highsided my bike thanks to someone losing oil in this turn while i was in a class for ONE FREAKING HOUR, and cold tires as well. left the parking lot just to switch to a closer lot for classes, rounding the corner and BAM start going lowsided, followed by massive traction regained going highside almost, which when in a curve means you are now point straight at the curb. lol. so i grabbed clutch and breaks and mixed with the oil and cold tires slid into said curb causing the bike to half loop over the front end, causing much cracked and scrapped plastics, my shoe flying 30 feet in some random bush and a cracked case and crushed helmet (thanks to me leaving it strapped to the tail since i was moving not more than 400 feet... shoulda just walked...)

well anywho, i used the past few weeks to reapair all of it, was able to weld my upper stay since it was a clean break, and plastic weld my upper fairing. i also was able to full buff out every little nick and even huge gashes in my headlights, it was miraculous. and then using some purty acura white pearl paint (minus the pearl) i went to town. oh also replaced the stator case the oil and cracked footpeg. know how much a freaking small case, gasket, gallon of AMSoil and two aftermarket footpegs costs? 253 dollars, bastards!!!!

anyways, i took pics with the cell phone through the stages, i'll get good REAL pics up of the finished product once i work out the imperfections that showed up in the clear on the tank bra, the smallest yet most noticeable piece ont he whole bike is the only one that got **** in the clear. ARGH!!!!

enough talk

first things first, strip the bike!!!!

it was on the road between parking lots!!!!! lol.

the fram is already black and it already had flat black accents, only thing i painted black was the lower fairing, they are so black you can't even tell they are on the bike in that last pic lol. everything else is white.

and panda's are probably both assuming they know how to swim haha. SHUT UP! next closest animal is the zebra and the cow and there's no such thing of those in all of asia so meh!

yes i did! only one small plastic piece cause my mom decided to turn on the dryer which vents into the garage RIGHT after spraying the clear. so i just got back inside from respraying that piece. i freaking forgot to wipe down the piece though before clear so theres **** in it again LOLOLOLOL!!!!! luckily its very minor so im just gonna go with it. i ride the bike, its not show piece. since its white it shows EVERY FLAW so its a damn great paint job seein as it turned out so damn well (every other piece that is) but i usually paint in winter which is very low humidity and dust plus i usually paint darker colors so if there ever is trash in it, you CANNOT tell at all.

here is the finished product!!!!! might still do a bit more 3000 grit wet sanding and light buffing since it has an ever ever so slight orange peel effect in some areas but man is it the smoooooothest clear coat job that has come out of my garage straight from spray. loooooove it!!!!!

i played with that option and this one and i liked this one a tid bit more, looks a bit better in person. im also thinking maybe i should smoke the headlights and tail lights a little.

but it have to be a VERY LITTLE since motorcycle headlights at night already suck as it is...

lol ^^^ maybe, also the BIG BIG BIG reason i went black on the lower is that part gets alot of scrapes and dirt and debris damage on it. So being black will help hide it and i also just used a enamel spray paint and just buffed it nice so it will be cheap to keep lookin good.
