Anyone want to get motorcycle endorsement?
#2
Already got mine, but just wanted to let you know... my brother took that course and said it was great. He like the fact that graduating the course gets you the endorsement. You don't need to test at the DMV after taking the class. I kinda wish I still had a bike. What are you getting/have? This is what I traded for my Z:

I have no idea yet really. I've got no real experience so something lightweight for starters. I was thinking about one of the little Buells. Eventually I'm sure that I'll want a GSXR or the like. New Ninja is pretty slick looking.

I've been talked out of it at least a dozen times, but I keep getting the itch. I'm just getting the endorsement for now we'll see what happens after that.
The Honda Interceptor also looks awful nice, heavy though.

Taking the Jan 5,6,7 class. Fee is $100. Come on, it'll be fun.
Edit: Also note that you must pay the fee the same day that you register and the classes fill up quick.
Class runs from:
5:30p - 9:30p Friday
7:30a - 5:00p Saturday
7:30a - 3:00p Sunday

You might have to do the registration thing if you're not already set up with CCSN, but I don't think that it takes long. Call # is 17194.

Just a follow up. I thought that course was great. The instructors were good and you get some decent experience. Our group was 100% passed (possibly because the really awful riders didn't bother to come back to test).
The same instructors also said that they instruct the Rider's Edge class over at the Harley place. One of the instructors actually works at the Harley place. They say that the only difference between the two classes is that you are paying more for the Rider's Edge class.
CCSN ftw!
