MSA and McKinney =(

Hello there my fellow Z enthusiasts!

I am here with some questions, and here just to ramble on!

I recently (October actually) bought a sway bar set from MSA, and they said it would take a while to be shipped. I paid for them October 20th 2009, and they have JUST arrived as of 12:23 PM February 17th 2010. After a few emails I learned they were having problems with finding a new source for them, and I am still waiting on my cusco strut bars... which were purchased about a month before the sway bars. Not only did it take 5 months, and I was not let in on what was going on unless I pushed Jon's buttons, but they did not give me a shipping confirmation either O.o.

Now onto McKinney. I bought their Throttle cable and bracket thing, cause I have no skill at custom fab.

Now, the description states "WORK FOR SR20, KA AND RB MOTOR."

I bought it some time, and was waiting for a lot of parts for my motor, and for my slow restoration, and I kind of lost track of it, and couldnt remember if I had actually paid for it. Looked at my paypal records, and sure enough, I had. It had been over 4 months. I emailed them, told them what happened, sent them a screenshot of the reciept, and asked if they had sent it, in which they said they did, and i told them I had not received it, NOR did I get a shipping notification. So they sent "Another" one.

What they sent was questionable.

On top is the stock RB20det throttle cable, that came with the motor.

The little red blob of confusion on the bottom is supposed to be what "fits" into my throttle... wot.

Has anyone ever bought the throttle cable before? If so, how did you get it to fit..?

/rant

Lol, OK, I found a way to make the damn throttle cable work, will post pics when I wake up. This is for anyone who decides they want an easy fix. It looks ghetto as hell, but this is so it stays still till i can get some.. better than zip ties to hold it down material.

Ghettofab must be my specialty...
