I don’t know if I should be pissed or flattered

I got a message today from someone who found an image of my car on an automotive website. They used the image as the background for a custom business card. Mind you they did not contact me to get permission to use the image of my car. I wouldn’t be so pissed but i like they’re trying to make money with my car and I don’t even make a dime off of my car…

Heres the website

contact them and tell them you want royalties or theres a law suite coming. thats copyright infringement if they didnt take the picture its not licensed for their use. unless you give WRITTEN consent

Doesnt matter. Issac took the picture, its his car and they unlawfully are using the image for monetary gain. Lawsuit or royalties my friend.

Personally I would just send them the lawsuite before calling.

I may take a few pics now and then for my website gallery, but I don't ever sell anything.

I'm guessing that your email worked because I don't see any picture of your car in the link you provided.

I have a similiar problem. I received a catalog which has apicture of my car being used to advertise a product. I did not give them permission to use the pic. It seems they took it off one of the 350Z forums I was on. Can I get compensated for the pics (which I took myself)????

That was cool of them to remove it so quickly. It's lame whoever put that up to try and make money off of it.

Did you get input from every car picture you used before making that video?
