Wow, found this pic of a King Brown Snake...largest poisonous snake in Australia...and again deadly...apparently one of the top 10...
I killed one of these once in our backyard that was the biggest I have ever seen. I picked the tail up and stretched my arm up over my head and the head and about 1.5 foot still on the ground...Im 6'6 so it was at least 10' long

Just to show we have nice reptiles too...we rescued one of these guys...a bearded dragon and had him as a pet for years after he got better. We didnt keep him, he would go out during the day and arrive at the door at night for bedtime and a little feeding. The spines are all for show and dont hurt at all, our little guy was actually quite affectionate and would sit on your arm while you watched TV

Awe, what an adorable Bearded Dragon! That's so cool that he kept coming back to you, waiting at the door!
Oh, so that's a Platypus! He's a cutie-pie too! Looks similar to a Sea Lion - a Platylion.

The male ones have a spur on their hind legs...apparently very painful but not fatal to humans...
You can still think they are cute...cos they are heehee
then theres my personal favourite...the wombat...Heres a cute pic for you Barbie...
They dont have spines, they arent aggresive they just grow to be pretty big (up to 4 ft long and 65 lbs)

Awwwwe, how adorable! It kinda looks like a cross between a racoon and a koala!
Ummm, dayum, up to 65 lbs.? Hmmm, must have some baboon in it. lol! Are people allowed to keep them as pets there?

No pic? Lets try a different one...Still works on mine...
Cane Toads were brought in to try and contain the Cane beetle that was going nuts in the Sugar Cane fields...unfortunately its become 100 times more menacing than the beetle. Pretty guy hey...
Interestingly I have met the guy who introduced it to Oz...I was going out with his Granddaughter for a while...

Oh and Barbie, you have to have a special permit to keep a wombat. There was a TV show here where one of the characters had a pet "Fatso" the wombat

Awe, I wanna Wombat!
Ooooh, so that's a Numbat. It's a cutie-pie too! Looks like a huge squirrel with stripes.
Gosh, that Caine Toad is a pretty weird lookin dude - and freakin huge! I have two Tree Frogs, and think they're adorable. Do you have Tree Frogs there in Aussie?
