good parts places in washington?

i am headed up to washington on saturday, it was just gonna be a week but now it may be longer. i amnot taking my z i am taking a train and then i'll have acess to a bitchin 500,000 mile toyota camry wagon thats spent all of its life in the seattle area....as you can imagine its the definition of rust bucket.

any way there any good parts places in washington?

i'm lookin for a few peices and then some and i am always on the look out for neato gadgetry as well. i'll be about 1hour south of the canadian border, takes about 20-30 minutes to get to seattle as long as there isnt heavy traffic.

Pull a Part in Lynnwood I hear is a good wrecking yard.

It is on the north side of Seattle. I think there is a wrecking yard up in Arlington too.

alright what about "tuning shops" i am trally lookin for the oddball shops i found in japan that sold used parts, you know the kind, the funky aftermarket JDM parts, was a good place for decent mufflers for cheap.

its either that or the tanabe medallion muffler for $50 on craigs list.

No ebay... but you do the "tuner shops" ? All the "tuner shops" around here sell red honduh emblems and tricked out flashing valve stem caps.

Feltons is a Nissan only wrecker. They strip the cars themselves, shelf them, and put them in their database. Its a well run business. Not the cheapest but they know their stuff and much cheaper than new from the dealer. They are up north. I've been there twice in my life.

Z Sport is a mechanic shop up in Evrette. They work on Nissans primarily. I had them work on my 280ZX once when I just couldn't get it to pass emissions. They got it fixed quickly. That's the only time I took a car to a mechanic.

There is a tuner shop in the Kent valley. I once stopped in to find some vacuum port plugs. they had no idea what I was talking aboot. maybe they thought I was looking for stickers.

alright i just thought i would drop the info, i went to Pull a Part in arlington and i managed a full distributer with a new cap, 5 out of the 6 injectors, a new fuel pressure regulator and a new looking AAV off of a 1984 maxima wagon.

the pull a part has 2 of them one is an 1983 and there are 3 or 4 300zx's out there with trannys and engines still.

the 1984 i pulled the parts off was CLEAN i mean almost mint before it was wrecked, it was pinched in the back end between another car and a pole from what i could tell, under the hood was very clean it may be worth pulling the motor and using it for a project or definitly worth the head.

i am guessing it had alot of service done because one of the injectors was aftermarket and it wasnt gonna come out and the injectors also had new mounting hardware on all 6.

for $35 i couldnt complain, alot cheaper than down at home
