Fun trip for the day

So, me and Bob79280ZX are driving up to MSA today to get him his new AFM. I wonder how much I will be able to resist the temptation of going on a shopping spree while I'm there?????

Well, We had a slight change of plans.

First of all, one of Bob's power steering hoses blew apart last night. Then he called MSA this morning to make sure they still had his AFM and they told him "no, we'll have to order another one".

So, we went junkyard crawling instead. Found the hoses he needed. Got a new idler pulley bracket for my car cuz mine is FUBAR and that was about it.

Went back to his place and swapped out the hoses.

Prolly make the MSA run next Saturday.

^ Put some nice fat/sticky 245/35ZR18 AA/A tires on your car and then come talk to me about having no power steering...

316?????

Anyway's, Try autocrossing a car like that with the P/S removed. Unless you're Arnold Scharzenegger on steroids... It's probably gonna be a little tough.

There is NOTHING wrong with power steering. It's not like having an automatic transmission or anything. It's there to HELP you. Some P/S systems kinda suck but that's no reason to just trash the whole idea.

Long live Power assisted steering!!!

If the car is designed to NOT have it... It's all good. But if you take a car that came with P/S and disable it... It's gonna suck bawlz.

I have been driving without power steering, since I got my Z running in February. I have got used to not having it. I think it would be weird, if I hooked it back up.
