All I got to say is: Ouch that's gotta hurt! It looks like the Civic did use the e-brake. But what the hell for? And especially in the middle of the road, with traffic. What an idiot

That was an "oh ****" moment........ At least the guy on the bike was wearing the proper gear. There are two types of bikers...... Those that have been down, and those that are gonna go down.

If that'd been me on the bike the dude in the Civic would've ended up hitting the ground alot harder than I did. That looked completely intentional and I wouldn't have bothered to find out otherwise. That was just F'ed up

gotta love how everyone is instantly a paramedic when something like that happens. if you dont know what you are doing, dont do anything. that pushy lady that wanted to take off the helmet obviously had no idea that you dont do that 'till you are sure of no head or neck injuries. pushy idiots that have no idea what they are doing **** me off. and yeah, once i had my helmet off, the guy in the civic would have got it across his face a few times. cars dont just do that out of the blue, "oh, i was just braking and it swerved". BS.

actually, I think that was a woman riding the bike. Look at the hands when the person takes their gloves off, it looks like a woman based on the ring she has on her right hand. That Civic guy better have paid for something, be it his ***, or out of his pocketbook.

it was a woman. pushy girl #1 corrects stupid guy #1 when he asks "is HE ok?" also, you can hear the biker talk, and it is definately a womans voice.

If you watch the end of the video where they show the replay in slow mode you can clearly see that the rear tires lock up and start spewing smoke. Obvious e-brake pull. That or his front brakes just dont work at all Whatever. That guys a jack ***. And SHE still should've cracked that guy in the head with her helmet.

it's pretty bad *** that a woman biker was able to take that kind of a fall, and still remain calm. The girl wasn't crying, and she seemed to be as calm as the situation allowed.

Trust me, in the first few moments after an event like that, you're calm, you're actually stunned, you're actually going WTF just happened. Been there done that too many times. It was all of 3 seconds from the time the car brakes locked up until the rider was on the ground. :-)

EDIT: that's the girl rider at the end that the camera shows and she says "it's connected to my bag".

I bet the girl is happy that she had that camera set up, because now beyond a reasonable doubt is the guy wrong. If he wanted to pull his ebrake, he should have done it in a parking lot, away from people.
