Its out lived ever PC Iv ever owned, Its been 4 years and it still runs fast as ever.

1.83 Ghz Intel core duo, 512 MB, 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

 

But it's an Apple....

 

That makes sense, Macs must come conveniently preloaded with witty internet pictures that are designated for internet chat forum use.

standard PC parts running apple branded linux in a gay case thats hard to cool

i bet if you replaced the processor with a 45nm core 2 duo and got a decent ammount of 1066 ram you'd realize how slow that thing is.

512 megs of ram? 4 years old even? average then was 2 gigs!
if your doing alot of image work i'd suggest 4 gigs of 1066.

most of my PC is 4 years old if you want to get into an age thing

Athlon X2 5200+ OCed to 3.4Ghz, 4 gigs of DDR 1000, ram is OCed too stock was 800

In 2005? Even 1 gig was considered a lot. I'm surprised the dual core was even out 4 years ago. I bought my home computer about this time in 2007 and its a 2.2ghz dual core.

 

its not the fasted greatest thing out there (its 4 years old after all)

but its still as quick as when i got it and it never lets me down and has alot of really nice program features.

 

But Can it play Half-Life 2? lol

Ya'll will soo laugh at me. I'm kicking it on a Gateway 450. It has a Pentium II 450MHz, 128MB RAM, and a 20GB HDD. But I have a secondary with all my documents and whatnot that is 160GB(Bought brand new!). Lol, a 15" CRT monitor completes the scene, as does the crappy keyboard and rollerball mouse. I sold my good computer a year ago....Uhh...What did I buy with that money....Hm. I think I spent the money on my 2nd vehicle, a 91 S10. New exhaust system. That sounds right. Of course, I'm on car 7 now...and it's been just over a year!

I like my G5 desktop. My PCs suck compared to it... I use it for mostly photography and videos though
