Avation major? Around here if you can stay sober and pay for flight hours, you can get your aviation degree.
The school isn't all that important for a Bachelors, it's when you go for a Masters or Doctorate that it is important.

lol, in the discriminating career of aviation degree and school is everything, folowed by their own tests, learning process and your hours in what situations (IFR, multi, any turbine, cross country, dual, PIC, etc.) and your ratings. thats like saying its not hard to get into U of I for engineering. lol.

i got into the last school that i applied to. VCU. that's 2 for 3! it was my first choice, but i'm so exited now that i can't decide between the two!!! i got in, just not to the engineering major that i wanted. only general admission. so, it's either my 3rd choice school in my intended major, or my first choice school in general admission, hoping that i can switch to engineering in the second year...
at any rate, i'm pretty f-ing exited. i'm going to college!!!!!!

i just found out that i get no financial aid from either school that i've been accepted to. and the one that i want to go to doesn't even offer loans that can wait 4 years to be paid back. so al in all, i'm short about 3-4K a year, even if i am working. selling the Z and going no car takes care of the first 2 years i guess, but that is terrible. and it limits my job options
any advise on how to pick up the last bit of money for college? even if it is a loan? and i'm not thinking about the military anymore, not since i realized that the 20K bonus was because they want to send you to iraq.
i am applying for quite a few scholarshiips, but i didn't exactly try that hard in high school, and i don't like sports, so i'm not too eligable for most of them...

There's tons of companies that do student loans... just make sure they are well known (check w/ BBB) and make sure they will defer payment AND interest until after you grad. Start w/ your local bank & ask them if they do student loans, and if not, who they recommend.

Viriginia's got a ton of resources for paying for college:

http://www.schev.edu/Students/PayForCollege.asp
Make sure to check all the places they list, if you haven't already. Like NismoPick said, you can always go the private company route for student loans (bottom of the first page has a link to Fastweb, a good way to find private student loans).
good luck!
