Cheap

Anyone need body parts for a 280z?

http://boise.craigslist.org/pts/525350883.html

I posted this because if anyone wants any of these parts i`d be willing to pick it up and part and ship it for cheap. I`ll call the guy tomorrow and look at it.

it is a good deal.... if only a scrap yard would pick it up from you for free once you've pulled all the usable parts off of it. You'd probably end up paying them $100 (in WA) to take the body on a flatbed.

Yeah built the trailer myself. Heres a picture from when we moved my Z to the shop. I know the spoiler. Its filling holes again. Its gone soon as I get around to welding them shut. I pull the trailer with a 1979 dodge ram Extended cab pickup. And yes that trailer is like 4 feet tall. Its a real pain to put a car on it.

you PAY scrap yards in washington to take cars from you?
thats nuts, as long as its got wheels they'll tow it AND pay you, when my girlfriend buick took a dump they towed it and paid us $150 for it, and it wasnt pretty.

Most scrap yards have a minimum weight limit... Around here, there isn't a single scrap yard that will pick up a car for free or pay you, unless it's over 2000 pounds (because it's not worth their time). If you part out a car down to the frame, it's not going to weigh near that much.

I gots this huge logging chain I use to secure cars when I tow em for scrap. It weighs about 300lbs. Now they only weigh the back of the truck and the trailer here so When they unload the scrap cars I throw that chain in the front of the pickup bed, helps out a lot.

I've got a '73 Olds Ninety Eight that I need to take to the scrap yard. It weighs close to 3000lbs without the engine in it lol.
