best brands for paint?
just wondering what brands of paint systems people have had good experiences with. the only car i've painted, i used napa brand, and i got a very good finish, but i'm not sure whether to attain my spider cracking to my prep work or to the paint system. dad used dupont i believe, and it's great. but it costs a bit more i believe. any other brands that you all can vouch for?

Dupont, PPG, and 3M supplies... There's probably more, but I use those. Keystone is a local? body supply company here & they have some rockin products of their own. Check your local supply store for house brands.

The paint used on my Z was a Keystone Primer/Sealer, PPG Silver Metalic and Keystone Clear. The PPG Clear is expensive, which is why I went with the Keystone, but I believe it is a better clear. The paint turned out great.
On a side note, 3M makes a panel adhesive that is freaking sweet!

i like pettit trinidad s-r for my paint needs and interlux epoxy paints---but for cars, dupont makes a very good paint with good coverage and durability......
