When i first got my z it had a 280zx sign on the back where the license plate goes and my plate was under my rear bumber. the sign wasnt in "cursive" like the turbo it was just normal bold larger font print. i cant find anything on it. wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

I had one but, it got chucked because it fell apart... I could never find a decent replacement for it.

 

If it is the center panel like the eBay ad, the ones without the "turbo" are harder to find.

I've had a couple turbo panels and took them both off. I dont' like the look of them installed.

 

no....not quite the same. actually quite a bit different its between the tail lights and its red with black letters.

no it looked like it was orig. i've been trying to find a pic but cant ill keep lookin. it is a red plastic sign, with 280zx in black letters. it was like factory job..well...it looked like it..ill find a similar one. ill post a pic soon

 

i have one but i believe it has a crack in it and the light bulbs that make it light up melted into the plastic... oh and the gasket is fubar

I have a display license plate that says "280ZXR" on it. It was probably made by a dealer to put on their 280ZXR when it was new.

It has already been established that the light up center panel is not what he is talking about.

 

wait...the center between the tail lights is where it goes. i didnt know it lit up though. mine never did. maybe because my license plate lights are out....damn i am stupid lol. i was young when i got it didnt even think about it. maybe...yes do please post a pick.

it is in the same place but not matching with the tail lights. it was just a solid red piece wth no split and letters were not protruding they were flush with it. but i guess it is similar. sorry i thought that was a tail light. but it has no lines or anthing just 280zx in black letters, like in the center of the piece.

There was a 280ZX at nationals that had something like this... Red center piece with a 280ZX in it. I think I may have it in my photobucket, but Websense says I can look at my pictures at work.

all i can advise is to watch ebay and craigslist for one... you could also post on several Z car forums "parts wanted" sections for one, use my pic if you want
