1988 300ZX For Sale

I bought this car from my step dad after my mom died 13 years ago. They bought it new in 88'. This car is pretty much perfect inside and out. Always garaged, covered and maintained. No leaks. 84,xxxmi, all original. I have all maintenance records including window sticker.

Will consider reasonable offers.

Sad to hear you feel that way...I've seen some advertised without turbo, perfect condition, like mine, and a few less miles for $16,000...The ones I've seen for $10,000 aren't near the condition mine is and they don't have leather

4 to 5 k

Good luck finding a buyer at that, you might have seen them for sale for that, and if you look, still probably for sale. I got my 84 in pristine condition, 78k miles for 4k, and I probably over paid, but was happy with the deal. A turbo with 10k miles might get what you are asking. I wish you the best luck, but if I had that kind of cash to buy a Z, i would shop nationally, and fly down to audition a car, so that is the buyer you are looking for, and that puts you in a class of its own, so the car needs to be a 100 out of 100 show room condition, perfect paint, all rubber in new condition, door seals etc. New interior, new paint, new tires, then it might be worth it.

Rain

Not trying to rain on your parade, because that is a nice Z31 and If I was selling it I would post it at 7500$ knowing I was a bit high, but that the right guy I could negotiate with, so that when he talks you down 1500, you still are getting a fair price. We see these cars all the time, and some very nice examples, unfortunately, the Z31 is the least popular, least desirable Z model, at least if you ask around in the Z community a general consensus. The later models are better with a more rounded less angular profile. I would defiantly work the fact that the leather seats are perfect(at least what I could see). Any Z enthusiast that is interested in buying your car will most likely try and find any fault they can and play it up as much as possible, going over the costs of repair and rareness of parts etc... so you need to be prepared for that.

The "advertised price" and "how much it sold for" are two different prices. I can ask $1.2M for my car, it doesn't mean it's worth that much.

We're not trying to be jerks, just giving some friendly advice on realistic pricing.
