wanting to sell my 280zxt motor

hello i am interested in selling my turbo motor it's fully rebuilt less than 20 miles or so.. has p90 head aftermarket fuel rail w/gauge and custom stock manifold with webbing cut out chrome powder coated by lonewolf performance. stock turbo spools up nice. new injectors and sensors new hoses thier pink but way better than part store hose.. i have had ARP head studs put in, so no more replacing head bolts. nismo FPR i will include. it will be complete and is spanking new. i will post pics if people show interest and with reasonable offers just cause it cost 12 bucks for a new valve cover gasket so i can snap the head bolts.. and i wont have good sun till im off next weekend. its off an automatic so i never redlined it but its fast buddy boy.. ill probably part the car if the motor sells. so if you want more than just the motor u have first dibs. lets talk guys if ur interested. work done by "precision r" here in san antonio a reputable tuning shop.. the money i put into the motor is long gone so not looking for a specific price but enough to make this summer a blast . plus i have 3 spare zxt motors from the z horder down the street to my disposal.. guys i love these cars . wanted one since 13 owned first one at 20 and i have bought one every year since.. so lets find it a home

First of all you're going to want to post this in the for sale section - not the wanted.

Second if you want to sell it you'll be better off posting a price. Typically people skip over an ad if there isn't a price and most forums don't even let you post if you don't include a price.

Third - pictures put the buyer at ease. If you really want to sell it's a major draw to a buyer.

You're new so I though a few friendly pointers would be appreciated...

the deal

well like i said cant get pics till next weekend.. if ur lookin for a turbo motor then ur talking to the right guy was my message.. all info will be posted when the pics are in.. i sell l28et all the time here in SA usually on my BB and networking, 2 alone at nismofiesta. as for "new" im offended, only new to trying to get my bounty to other ends of the states through this forum.. a price really "what do you wanna pay i like to sell to the seller not the money" its all free when i get the motor. im not the typical seller and im sure this site can benifit from the z's that role through me before a z fan gets to take it home.. so thanks for the tips but i believe z's wil go where they are needed not to the highest bidder..
i hope we can all be friends

it states in the link section your in for sale/wanted section so maybe glitch but i followed the links to zx stuff for sale and there was my post.{error) is my guess

Don't be offended, we are glad you are here. We just ask that people post pics, prices, and details (you rock at detail!) in their classifieds posts.

Agreed, and again thanks. Some other people think they need to hoard Z parts and sell them for super-duper-uber high prices.

If you're ever willing to part with that fuel rail I'd happily buy it off of you!

Just curious about the J-pipe - is there a reason it's wrapped?

no its in perfect condition. i suppose since i wrapped the exhaust manifold and had some left over i would do it just to keep the cool air in and hot air away. bout to weld a BOV to it next pay day..
believe it or not i can touch the wrap on the turbo manifold even after its hot. the stuff works great at keeping heat in and out...no more heat shield needed and when combined with removed plenum webbing on intake manifold, makes for 30 min removal of manifolds.. kinda itchy while installing and smokes while it settles but does exacly what it says it does.

The air in the J-pipe is actually hot - you're keeping the heat IN the pipe. It's that whole compressed air gets hot and why we run an intercooler with turbos, etc. If you have left overs use it on the exhaust side of your turbo. Header wrap is basically fiberglass which is why it's itchy. You should use gloves when installing it and wear a mask as it's possible some still has asbestos in it. You can get a silicone spray for headers that binds the fiberglass together and keeps it from falling apart over time.

i thought compressed air was supposed to be colder, which is why peple want to seperate the exhuast housing and intake housing ... and yeah i know why its itchy used the spray once but its a headache when taking the manifold off and does not work so well it peels and cracks the opposite of its intention..
i have been working on a heat shield though, that would not get in the way of pulling the manifolds off in record time..
if the motor sells after i complete the sheild it will also be sold with the motor.....

Compressing air creates heat.... otherwise our world wouldn't work they way it does.

That is why turbocharged engines benefit from intercoolers.
