hey guys i have a fully rebuilt and polished 280zx turbo head. heres the deal the machine shop i took it to at first decided to slice samll curve when they shaved it, even though they have done excellent work for me before. needless to say i went to another shop where i found this out.
they shaved the head and now is too short for turbo cars as it will raise the compression. so the cast is of no value to turbo owners(unless you shim kit it) however the cam and rockerarms are excelent.
it will be complete on the cast so the arms will match the cam lobes.. ima say $200 half the price of 2 head jobs and new valve seals. the rockers alone will cost you more. thanks guys..
ill take a pick if you want it but we all know what a fresh head looks like.

How much did they shave off? That # is needed to calculate CR if someone were to use the head.
