Would this work in the cluster out of a 79 which is also a 130 mph but with the kph in white on the outside. would the speed sensor be we my cruz control dosent work? my car came with the digi cluster p.o but in the cluster. thought I would have to get the trans cog out of a 79 5 speed to make it read properly as well?

 

This will work in any 280zx cluster. The transmission speedo cog is to match the differential gear ratio. The '79 130mph speed sensor is not compatible with the 80-83 85mph cruise control. I actually posted about this here:

Awesome thank you for the information. In addition tells me why the bitching betty isnt operational for those as well.. would you happen to have an extra sensor u can add to this?
