1973 240Z project car for Sale
This car has been sold.
I acquired this 1973 Datsun 240Z project in September 2002, and work performed since September 2018 includes a new starter, water pump, radiator, and fuel pump, along with rebuilding the SU carburetors. The car is finished in turquoise over a black interior and is powered by a 2.8-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Modifications include slotted mag wheels, Crane Cams electronic ignition, and a 60-amp accessory fuse block. This 240Z is now offered at no reserve with spare parts and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The fuel tank needs to be cleaned or replaced, but it runs and the drive train is solid. This is my 5th 240z, and I find them fun and relatively easy to work on because most components are pretty accessible. The reason that I am not completing it is that I just have too many Datsuns and not enough room in my garage. Not enough hours in the day to play (work on) them all.
I have listed it on Bring A Trailer; you can see all the details with lots of pics and place a bid if you are interested at the following link:
