not gonna lie.... instead of a NA 3.7 liter V6 they shoulda just went 4.0 V8 DOHC woulda been pretty neat. not like its not been bastardized enough over all the years where they cant do that. that or they shoulda made it turbo. then, R35 sales might drop lol

Z-car= 6 cylinder sports car. If they put a V8 in there, they'd have to drop the 'Z' from the name IMO...

nah... they've lost alot of the styling over the years went V instead of inline. they should make another turbo version or just go all out on the NA part which would mean go V8 that or really really touch back into the roots.... but i doubt that will ever happen

because before '83 they had x-6's? i agree with snw. the best way to make the car stand out and be ridiculously awesome again would be to TT the v-6 (preferably) or put a small V-8 in it. it's still pretty sweet

to save money on production costs like Nissan likes to do, use the GTR V6 TT in the new Z with no non-turbo option. One engine only and not a new design.
maybe detune it for the Z... so the GTR looks better on paper. Then give the Z a real transmission that won't break all the time. lol

oh, I did not know that. Hand built...
well, the G37s puts down about 275whp stock. There was a new one at the dyno day I went to earlier this year. Owned by an asian kid about 19 years old... you do the math

yup thats the word on the street the hand assemble the GTR motors. im sure i could search and back that up but i dont really give two ***** i heard it in a review video and im stickin to it! haha. think of the possibilities though, using the 370Z manual tranny you can do some nice custom setups and all the turbo friendly parts for the 370 available right away.

But while the tranny's are good. They're a blast to ride in. At the recent Z con in Cleveland, Nissan sent someone over from Tennesee with a black GT-R and was giving out rides to people. Holy crap that thing is retarded fast. When the boost came on and shoved me into the back of the seat. It put a big grin on my face.
