MP3 single DIN install
1. Remove shifter surround
2. Remove center of dash
3. Remove huge single CD player
4. Install MP3 player
5. Put the car back together
This is the same one I had in my 280ZX since 2006

I bought a wiring harness off eBay. I found a seller which seemed to know their stuff. The 2006+ wiring varies from the 2003-05.
I plugged the brown clip back in I guess. I'm not sure. I don't remember there being any loose wiring or questionable plugs.

The stock unit sounded fine.
I like the use of MP3 CD's and SD card slot for MP3 on the JVC unit I installed. I'm just using the internal amp, stock wiring, and Nissan speakers. It sounds plenty good for this car.
My 280ZX will be a bit more...
