Wipers on at 90mph+

Wipers on at 90mph+

Ok, I'm baffled. At 90 Mph and above my wipers come on. If I turn them on and off they return the the resting position and then come right back up and stay up in the vertical position. Very distracting. I know some may say it has to do with windlift but then all Z32 would have them problem. Any ideas?

never heard of anything like that... Is it exactly at 90mph??

No, but it's allways around 90 but sometimes +-5 mph that it starts, wierd. I guess I'll need to tie them down until I find a fix. Could be a weak wiper motor I guess. I rarely go that fast since I prefer to autox so it's not a BIG problem just embarrassing

BTW, I like the new forum look and it more consistent with other forums I use. Keep up the good work!

Thanks on the forum..

The only thing I could think of is the wind is blowing them up..
Do they turn on or just move up?

Try to pull your wiper armes now don't brake them just give both a tug @ the same time if your arms move then I think that its safe to say that the motor is shot!!

Ok, I gently pulled on them and they DO move fairly easily. How hard are yours to move. R u sure they should be hard to move. Thanks.

U should not be able to move them! I would say that your motor is shot! I think that it needs to be replaced, sorry. New or used thats up to you.courtesy nissan you can try here if its not on the web page send them an email to see if they can get the parts!

you know StrictlyZ gets new OEM parts at a good price too..
In fact we can match Courtesy on most OEM parts..

So if your going to buy new Check with use first...
It helps support this site BTW..
