Upgrades for next season

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to replace the transmission and clutch of my '91 TT next season and I would prefer to upgrade from stock parts. What are my options? What companies should I look into? I'd like it to be an "easy" swap, no modifying anything to get stuff to fit. So far for the tranny I've found the 98+ spec which just sounds like a newer OEM tranny. Also, if this is even a valid option, it would be awesome for the tranny to kind of "click" into gear, rather than feel like plastic/rubber like how my current one feels. As for the clutch, I have no idea where to start. Just want it to work well enough for the occasional night at the drag strip, but nothing too crazy.

Other things on the to-buy list are STD R1 coilovers and 5zigen FN01R-C wheels (17" matte black). I may hold off on the wheels until Fast comes out with their new line next year. What do you guys think?

Scratch the 5zigens, out of stock. Anyone know of a rim that looks like the Fikse Profil 5 but not thousands of dollars?

So is the 98 spec transmission any good? What kind of power can it handle? What would be a good clutch to match it if I'll be building my car up to around 400hp tops?
