Underdrive pullyes

I was wondering how hard it is to install underdrive pullyes. I just bought my 1st z, 93 tt . The car came with alot of mods and wanted to know if its worth the money and about how hp gain could i expect. And also what brand you all recomened. And also my cousin recomened taking the cats and resinators off to add more hp he told me i would gt around 40-50 more hp is this true and worth it. Said would cost around 400-500 for the removal and welding of new piping. Right now im running 363whp and 390wtrq. My goal is reach a little over 400whp so im hoping these two mods will get me there. Is it worth it?

if you don't know how hard it is to install new pulleys, then you don't need to do it. http://www.czp.us/Cart/description.p...966.76.112.226

It's all relative. I helped two guys put their u/d crank pullies on in the same day. You need tools, time and patience. This write-up will help you alot. U/D Pulley Install
I didn't use the write-up cuz I already new what to do from doing my T-belt.

As far as what brand, get a UR underdrive. It's been proven to be reliable. As far as your friend telling you to get rid of your catz and resonators and getting 40-50hp, he's full of it. Go ahead and get downpipes and testpipes, it'll help a lot, but will not give you 40-50hp. Go by the stage charts for mod sequences.
