Tranny problem :confused:
I drove a 97 5spd max before. Now i have a 93 Z N/A 5spd. When I shift from 1 to second there is this slap/bang that i hear and feel in the handle. This only happens when i shift fast. I used to always shift fast but not forcing on the max and it was good. But when i shift smoothly into second with a pause its fine. THE TRANNY DOES NoT GRIND> its just this slapping/banging feel/noise when engaging in second from first and sometimes neutral.

Maybe the syncs are starting to get tired? Noticed the same thing in the 510 before swapping trannies. Or maybe you're shifting faster than the tranny can handle. Just some input, not totally sure.
