N/A with bolt-ons gets 228 RWHP .............. Dyno chart included.

Cams might be a stretch for bolt-ons for some.

omg i wish i had that torque curve.
the hp line isn't bad either.

too bad he's going TT, i'd like to see how much more he could do with the NA.

How much do you think someone could squeeze out of an N/A without nitrous? They could port and pollish the heads, go with stock TT injectors, pistons, rods, then hone the plenum and intake manifold. What do you think, maybe 275 at the wheels? That would still be damn good on this motor.

I'm not saying much because it's all theory, and I'd get my *** flamed off for typing about it.

I would think that numbers about right. Maybe more if they fabbed an individual throttle body intake up and some other stuff.

More likely if someone put in bigger valves and actually ported the heads to complement the cams with the porting work being done based on what you see on a flow bench. You wouldn't need itb's, maybe something like a custom upper plenum with one vq35 throttle body and maf sensor.

you don't think that an NA would benefit greatly from itb's (I like that abbrev.)? Why not? I mean, it'd suck to synch them all, but I think it'd greatly improve throttle response and flow. Correct me if I'm wrong, since I probably am.

I think itb's would make an improvement. Like maybe 6 throttle bodies from a 1200cc v-twin f/i motorcycle or something. And then 6 little K&N's. And then an adapter, to the lower plenum? Or make a lower plenum block-off plate and mount straight to the heads with an adapter plate on each head. You're right, tying them all in to the throttle could be a challenge.

I'm not being facetious. ..... I'd guess that the t/b's and filters alone would run $1500 - $2k.

You'd still need to get some head work done to see any big improvements.

I'm definitely not assuming that it wouldn't be worth the cost. it woudln't IMO. I've seen ITB setups on Z's that were pretty impressive. This is also assuming that everything that can be done has been done. This is after all the ultimate NA Z we're talking about.

I like that 1st one. It's such a clean setup. I wonder what power gains were seen with that?
